London | RBCC Christmas Cocktails, Trinity House, Tuesday 4 December 2018
Further event details:
Come and celebrate the festive season with the RBCC at our annual Christmas Cocktails event. The event will take place at Trinity House, which offers elegant rooms, exquisite stain glass windows and views of the Tower of London on Tuesday 4 December. This is one of the Chamber’s two large annual events and a key Christmas event for the Russo-British business community in London. The evening will bring together some 160 RBCC members and partners for a panel discussion and an interview followed by a drinks reception during which HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO makes a short speech.
We have chosen the theme of ‘The Future Workplace: Adaptability in the Post-Brexit Era’, which will be the focus of our discussion. The UK and Russia are both dealing with the challenges brought about by aging populations and the development of new technologies, which are hugely impacting the way we work. The fourth industrial revolution is putting pressure on businesses and governments to improve skills and productivity. Furthermore, the extractive industries, so important in the Russo-British trading relationship, are also being confronted by increasing concerns around carbon emissions.
In conjunction with these major changes in the workplace, the UK is also preparing for its exit from the EU in March 2019. In the run up to March 2019 we want to look at how businesses can adapt and prepare for the future and what opportunities this might present for the Russo-British business relationship.
The RBCC Christmas Cocktails is a chance to network with RBCC members and Russia focused business professionals and to hear leading Russo-British business leaders share their expertise, perspectives and insights.
