Account Manager
Interfax is Russia’s largest independent news agency
with over 1000 staff, making over 3000 business and
financial news stories per day, covering Russia &
CIS, Eastern Europe and China. Our London office has
an opening for one, (perhaps two) account manager(s)
in our 7 people strong sales office.
The company produces over 40 online news reports;
weeklies, dailies and newswires, covering many
different sectors, e.g. Russia Oil and Gas, Poland
business , China metals and so on. Access to our
services is via website, email, or via Bloomberg and
Reuters terminals.
Clients in the UK and western Europe take out
subscriptions to our market intelligence reports on
an annual basis. Clients are mainly in investment
banks, oil/gas/ mining companies, telecoms,
insurance, pharmaceuticals, legal and professional
services in these industries, governments and other
media.
We need an energetic individual to join our team to
find new clients and maintainexisting ones. Most
likely products you will sell are Poland, Hungary,
Czech Republic, and Ukraine reports. But perhaps
other focussed products such as Oil and Gas. Any
prior experience of selling business and financial
information will be a definite bonus, as will
experience of the marketplaces of Russia and Eastern
EuropeGenerous commission is paid on all sales and
is not capped. Basic Salary: £28,000 per year.
