Background
With its long history of working in Russia and the UK, and its representation in London, Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce has established itself as the premier bridge between British and Russian Business.
The RBCC has a strong track record of organising successful trade missions for UK companies to Moscow, St.Petersburg and the regions, including delegations to Murmansk, Arkhangelsk. Novgorod, Pskov, and the Southern Urals Federal District.
With around 550 member companies drawn from all sectors of the Russian and UK business community, the RBCC is in a unique position to understand the concerns of companies working in each market, and to address the issues they face. The Chamber’s close links with local regional administrations and the Russian Federation Chambers of Commerce and Industry mean that our trade missions bring real benefit for business development and contact-building.
The city of Murmansk, and Murmansk oblast in general, offer substantial opportunities for Western investors, particularly in the ferrous/non-ferrous metallurgy, power generation, fishing and fish processing, transport and logistics and most recently in oil and gas sector. This is a rare opportunity for UK companies to make contact with some of the key industrial companies in this exciting and dynamic region.
