Sponsoring RBCC events
All Chamber events offer an ideal opportunity for supporting companies to raise their profile and promote their products, services and knowledge to a high-quality business audience. Companies of all sizes, both international and Russian, can benefit from association with RBCC events, whether they have engaged the Chamber to organise an event on their behalf, or whether they are supporting an RBCC networking evening, seminar or conference. The RBCC's unique contact base, long-standing relationship with government and business circles, and not-for-profit status mean that we provide unrivalled value to our sponsors, and we offer far lower prices than commercial event-organising companies.
The RBCC also works on a regular basis with member companies to co-market business seminars, including recent events held in conjunction with Baker & McKenzie, DHL and TNK-BP. The Chamber has extensive experience in event organisation, and can help with everything from venue-booking to delegate badges. We can secure favourable rates in many of the top venues in the cities where we operate: indeed, many of them are Chamber members. The RBCC's
wide and ever-expanding contact base, which is shared
between the three offices, means that our events always
attract a focused, relevant audience who are actively
interested in the information or services provided.

RBCC Business Networking Evenings
Held regularly in all three cities, our business networking evenings are a chance for regular members to see old friends, make new contacts and catch up with their local RBCC staff, just as they are an ideal opportunity for those new to the market to broaden their knowledge base and benefit from sound advice in an informal, relaxed setting.
RBCC Networking evenings are regularly hosted by our member hotels, such as the Katerina City and Baltschug Kempinski in Moscow, the Mandarin Oriental in London, and the Astoria/Angleterre and Kempinski Moika 22 in St. Petersburg.
For details of the next RBCC Networking evening in your area, please do not hesitate to contact the Events Manager in your local
RBCC office.
RBCC Business Seminars and Briefings
Covering subjects from ports and logistics to arbitration law, real estate to monetary policy reform, RBCC Business events have earned a reputation for high quality speakers, relevant content and unrivalled value to delegates. Events are either free or heavily discounted for RBCC members, and are formulated to provide maximum interaction between the speakers and the audience.
Trade and cooperation between Russia and the UK is developing rapidly, as are the legislative and political frameworks that underpin it - RBCC seminars are an essential tool for professionals needing to keep abreast of the latest developments in business between Russia and the West.
For details of forthcoming RBCC seminars and briefings, go to our

RBCC London Economic Round Tables with VTB Europe
Held quarterly, RBCC Economic Round Tables have established a reputation for providing profound analysis, unique contact-building opportunities in the City business community, and top-level speakers. All discussions are conducted off the record under the Chatham House Rule, allowing speaker and guests alike to develop a frank and vibrant debate. Past speakers at RBCC Economic Round Tables include Sir Eddy George, Former Governor of the Bank of England, Lord Owen, Former Labour Foreign Secretary, and William Tompson, Senior Economist with the OECD. For details of the Chamber's next Economic Round Table, contact
RBCC London.
RBCC LiveLink™ Briefings
Modern video-conferencing technology allows RBCC members and guests to participate in events even if they cannot be there in person. Starting in March 2005, the Chamber has added the LiveLink™ to selected events, allowing an audience in another city to actively participate in the seminar or briefing. Recent highlights of the RBCC LiveLink™ programme include a Moscow executive briefing with Robert Dudley, CEO of TNK-BP and Roger Munnings CBE, CIS Managing Partner of KPMG, which was beamed live to a London audience in the headquarters of AIG Insurance. LiveLink™ has also been used to add another dimension to regular RBCC events, such as the 3-way London-Moscow-St. Petersburg link-up during RBCC RussiaTALK 2005, and the special IPO seminar between the Corporation of London and St. Petersburg during the RBCC St. Petersburg 2006 International Investment Forum.
RBCC Flagship Investment Conferences
Top level speakers, relevant content and interactive discussion are the three key things which characterise the Chamber's flagship events in Russia and the UK. Held annually, the
London Business Summit (June) and
RBCC RussiaTALK in Moscow (October) both provide unique opportunities to interact at the highest level with the people who make the decisions that drive Russian and international business. In St. Petersburg, the Chamber runs a programme of quarterly
international business forums covering the most dynamic sectors of North West Russia, including retail, property and construction, human resources and high technology. Previous speakers at the Chamber's flagship events include:

RBCC Trade Missions
Russia is one of the world's most exciting developing markets, and as its economy continues to grow, more and more international companies of all sizes are looking to make the initial contacts they need to enter the market effectively. To effectively begin your business in any export market, you need to make contact with reliable partners early on, both in business circles and with the local authorities. RBCC trade missions, whether sector-specific or regional, provide the best start that your company can make in this complex region.
Making good contacts is as important in the UK as it is in Russia. As a bilateral organisation, the RBCC also organises regular trade missions to the UK for our Russian member companies. These missions normally coincide with an RBCC London seminar or networking event, and offer an ideal opportunity to make contact with the Chamber's UK membership base.
In addition to our regular trade mission programme, the RBCC is regularly contracted to organise market-scoping missions for individual companies, for which we will undertake market research, and put together a bespoke programme of meetings with potential trading partners. A mission of this kind represents a very cost-effective way to make initial conact with the people and companies you will need to work with going forward, first time. For further details of how the RBCC can organise an individual mission for your company, please visit the
RBCC Services section.
