RBCC Executive Director, Stephen Dalziel, joined some 200 people at the Soviet War Memorial on 9 May for the annual commemoration of those who died in the Second World War.
Stephen laid a wreath on behalf of RBCC, and later commented: “RBCC is all about cooperation between Russia and Britain, and there was no greater example of that – despite political disagreements – than the wartime alliance. I think it is only right that RBCC should participate in this commemoration”.
After the ceremony, the Russian Ambassador, HE Yury Fedotov, hosted an outdoor reception for all those who attended.
