On Monday 10th March 2008, RBCC London Office held the RBCC Parliamentary Lunch at the House of Commons. The lunch was hosted by Keith Simpson MP. The delegates were addressed by Bridget Kendall, BBC Diplomatic Correspondent. Bridget Kendall has been BBC Diplomatic Correspondent since 1998, and before that was Washington Correspondent for four years and Moscow Correspondent for five years. A Russian graduate, much of Bridget's work has involved Russia, including television profiles of Vladimir Putin, Boris Yeltsin and Mikhail Gorbachev. In 2006, she conducted a two-and-a-quarter hour interactive interview with President Putin in the Kremlin which was broadcast worldwide - her second interview with Mr Putin. Bridget came to the RBCC Parliamentary Lunch having just returned from Russia where she covered the Presidential Election. A wide-ranging and lively discussion probed her extensive knowledge of Russian political and economic situation. We would like to thank Keith Simpson MP for hosting the lunch and Bridget for dedicating time to address RBCC members and guests. The RBCC holds a lunch in the Houses of Parliament for people with business interests in Russia twice a year. Бриджет получила высшее образование в Москве, поэтому ее работа во многом связана с Россией. Она автор многих телерепортажей о Владимире Путине, Борисе Ельцине, Михаиле Горбачеве. В 2006 году она провела более чем двухчасовое интерактивное интервью с Президентом Путиным в Кремле, которое транслировалось по всему миру – ее второе интервью с Путиным. На Парламентский ланч РБТП она пришла, едва вернувшись из России, где журналистка освещала президентские выборы. В оживленной дискуссии Бриджет продемонстрировала глубокое знание политической и экономической ситуации в России.
