Seminar with Baker and McKenzie on Protection of Taxpayers' Interests,
18 April 2007, Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy

The Russo-British Chamber of Commerce organized the Seminar “Protection of Taxpayers' Interests within the Context of Auditing and Requests for Information”, kindly supported by Baker&McKenzie. The Seminar took place on 18 April 2007 at the Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy. This conference was targeted at legal and accounting procedures for the audit of taxpayers by the Russian tax and other authorities. The presentation by Baker&McKenzie addressed procedures for these audits, based on amendments to the Russian Tax Code that came into force in January, 2007, and also included practical advice on how to prepare for tax audits and to handle these in order to minimize possible tax exposure as well as controversies with the Russian tax authorities.
