RBCC HR Seminar,
30 May 2007, Courtyard by Marriott Moscow City Center

The HR Seminar, devoted to HR Selection and Foreign Employee Regulation, took place in Moscow . The seminar was kindly supported by Antal International, DLA Piper and MIG Security Services. The speakers spotlighted HR and legal aspects vital for today ' s business. All surveys of the Russian labour market conducted over the last year indicate that the market is on the rise and very dynamic at the moment, offering wide-ranging career opportunities. This in turn emphasises the vital importance placed upon finding and retaining the perfect employee in the present market.

Antal International has been present in the Russian market since 1994 and has been one of our most active members for several years, supporting the RBCC on numerous occasions.  The company has been recognised consistently for its innovation, recruitment excellence and understanding of clients' needs as well as its business vision. Tremayne Elson, the Managing Partner, shared his wealth of experience of Moscow 's labour market and recruitment with participants of the Seminar.

Vlad Mazur, Senior Associate of DLA Piper, a global legal services organisation, in his speech touched upon the questions of migratory legislation and working conditions for foreign employees in Russia . The presentation was devoted to the recent changes in immigration and registration procedures. As far as many Russian companies face different problems when hiring foreigners, the presentation instigated great interest among attendees who received comprehensive replies to their questions and left with a broader understanding of foreign employee regulation in today's Russia .

In the course of the Seminar another company, MIG Security Services, presented the interregional programme «Emergency Assistance» which is unique for Russia and may be a significant supplement to employee benefits. Vladimir Stefanovsky, Director of Emergency Assistance Department, described an innovative approach to problem solving which concerns people's protection – from day-to-day assistance in tight situations to an involvement of immediate reaction force. MIG offered an opportunity for all attendees to make use of these services free of charge within a month.

We would like to thank the speakers and all the companies who attended this useful seminar.
