Born in France (1966). MBA from ESCP-Europe in Paris.

First worked for Renault UK.

Moved to Russia in 1993 as the European Furniture Company’s CFO. 1999 - GM. After the 2002 acquisition by Shatura, headed its retail arm.

In 2006/07 Director on the Board of Eurochem (fertilizers).

From 2007 headed Lafarge Russia (Cement & Aggregates).

Since 2014 joined Aggreko, the World Leader in mobile power, headquartered in Glasgow and a FTSE company. In charge of Eurasia (ex-USSR, Turkey, Mongolia). The business has quadrupled up to 800 MW, mostly in Russia’s oil & gas. Aggreko powered the FIFA Confederation Cup in 2017. Latest developments are Far East’s isolated grids.

Chairman of the Board of AGATE, a Charity Fund supporting young entrepreneurs. RBCC Advisory Board member.

Alex and his wife Maria, a musical theatre director, are raising a son, Anton. The family is fond of animals, Alex’s hobby is eventing.
