Olga Podoinitsyna

Olga is an international award-winning communications and marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience in the global financial industry.

She is a former Member of the Board of VTB Capital and Senior Vice-President of VTB Group responsible for the global communications and marketing strategy for the VTB Group’ Corporate investment business (CIB), including regional development across Europe, Asia, MENA and USA.

Before working for VTB, Olga led the Communications and Marketing function at Deutsche Bank for Russia and the CIS, where she also acted as member of the Executive Committee.

Previously, Olga held senior positions at PriceWaterhouse, Burson Marsteller and the Centre for Capital Market Development Foundation, a World Bank project. She was also co-chair of the Marketing Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, and since 2010 had been a Member of the Board at the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce.

Olga became the first representative of a Russian company to win a SABRE Award in recognition for her professional contributions.

She is in the Holmes Report top-100 most influential leaders in corporate communications.

She has a Doctorate of Philology, Diploma in Russian Language and Literature from Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, and a Master’s degree in Economics and Public Administration from the Russian Presidential Academy.

Olga’s executive education has been certified by the New York Institute of Finance, London School of Economics, Kennedy School of Harvard University, the USA Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC), the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Harvard Business School.
