Baker McKenzie ranked 9th in World for International Arbitration by the GAR 30

Moscow, Russia, 11 April 2019 – Baker McKenzie was ranked 9th in the Global Arbitration Review 30. The GAR 30 is the annual ranking of the world’s leading international arbitration practices. The ranking was revealed at the 9th annual GAR Awards on April 4 in Paris.

In addition, Vladimir Khvalei, partner of Baker McKenzie and Chairman of the RAA, received the award for "Best Innovation by an Individual or Organisation" at the GAR Awards on behalf of the working group on the Prague Rules. The Prague Rules are a soft-law instrument designed to make arbitration a more effective and efficient dispute resolution process for parties as well as tribunals by relying more on civil law procedural tradition.
